Unlock HDD

I have the following problem, I have an HDD which I used on a hardmodded Xbox which died on me (128MB Trusty motherboard 
) I don't have the eeprom anymore. Now I want to put the HDD into another Xbox and soft mod it, but how do I unlock the HDD and format it? Is it even possible to use this HDD?
