I wanted to do the tsop write solder.
I have a v 1.0 xbox with an st bios. whatever brand that is.
well, i followed this post http://www.biline.ca/xbox_solder.htm
and i fucked up the top solder point on the board real hard. like, its all black with the flux.
and the bottom of the board i got soldered.
so i tryed to start it up, and it turns on, blinks green, turns off and on, blinks green, turns off and on then blinks red/green.
So i used coffee filters and rubbing alcohol to clean the top of the board off, it doesnt look like anything is connected solder wise.
And the bottom part of the board is desoldered very cleanly.
Now it just does the little off/on blink green and green/red thing.
Is there anyway i can jtag to debug the board?
Does anyone offer repair service here?
Tell me if you want high res pictures.

But they're neither rare or expensive, just get another one and try again, when you get the bug later on you can always dig it out of your loft and have a go at repairing it.
I think every xbox modder should mess up at least 1 board, that way the temptation to have a go at adding another 64MB will always be there
