I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will be on here soon (xman?) but you could just get a molex splitter and come off the main power to the HDD.

Possibly one of those splitters that has a lead for a fan or even floppy plug that can be cut off ?

Just looked at those lights on Newegg and it looks like it came with a molex splitter to power the lights, should work just fine

i prefer to use pre resisted led strips i found on ebay. there are easy to install (i just cliped the cover off of the hdd molex wired it in and replaced the cover) bang the lights were done)

also as there pre-resisted already you can cut the leds off in blocks of 3 to get correct length and they still worki like a charm. thing they come in either 24 or 248 led strips

@ Nolan- These are the specs of your selected LED strips......

Specs
Available LED Colors Red, Green, Blue, Orange, White
LED Type 5050 Top SMD
Angle 120°
Lumens 50-60lm
Voltage (v) 12

!2vDc seems to be the operating voltage and you can get this from the molex connectors, the power supply/ mother board connector or the DVDrive connector, actually, it's available at many points on the mother board but these are the easiest points to access and definitely have the current to drive your LED strip.
This data you may find useful.........http://www.xbmc4xbox.org.uk/forum/viewt ... p=824#p824
