MN-740 Hacks

I know the hack about the MN-740 really being a DLink adapter, and i tried it, but now the light is stuck at orange, but it is still see able to the MSBN update thing, and now im confused as to weather or not its dead becasue the Xbox can see it, and see networks through it, but not connect to them. that may be becasue the wireless router is too far away, becasue i remember it took some real pushing to set it up last time. But my real question is: Is it bricked, and if so, is there any way to fix it?

EDIT: Nope, MSBN cant see it, will try xbox again. Nope, MSBN CAN see it now
