I thought about that but it would be very hard to replicate that case, really hard. Trying to spray black on the inside and make it even would be damn near impossible.

Not "that" hard... you just need the proper products. :)
They are for lexan and polycarbonate.. dunno if it will bond 100%.. they should ^^... I was using those to smoke cars taillights and do headlight lid ... including Porscha ;)
These are only available in Hobby shops.. no hardware or auto-part stores have them (where they sell RC's)

that stuff works well but it is better in a pot with a fine air brush to make a nice finish the spray cans are quite clumbsy.

i use to race rc cars and used it for the windows to spify them up for detailed parts and as you could get a thinner coat it was less likely to crack or peel when you crashed.

Wow! you fellas have some really cool boxes! :D Couldn't resist adding mine up here that I'm doing at the moment, and here is a little bit of proof that life goes on after a RROD, or at least it does for the case.

Many thanks for all the great work with XBMC4XBOX, I love it and use it daily.
I call it my xbox 180

I used a 1.6 for the smaller PSU but had to keep the dvd board also

And the PSU only just fits, You can also see that i have used half of the stock 360 fan, clips in to it's original position.

I was confused as to what it was, then i realized you stuck a original inside a 360, Now use the MC360 or JX720 skin ;)

That's pretty cool, I've always wanted to try that but havent even bothered buying another 360, just not as reliable as well.......old reliable!!!!!xbox.
Did you have any trouble hooking up the power button?

Not too much of a case mod, just changed the P/E button to White/Blue and threw some blue LED's in the case for alittle glow. Old style 1GHZ Trusty board

How is it that you cut those grills? Tin Snips? because i tried using tin snips to open up a hole for a headphone jack, and it didn't look too good.

@xman, i was lucky and found this local through a friend, it's actually a jap console with a black jewel, rare find in the states for sure. I would neeeevvvveeeerr slim this thing......well maybe in 10 years when it's really obsolete

@Ghost, I always use these, cuts the metal like butter

@Royal, Haha, the green/orange fan was in there for a few months with a different CPU heatsink but i've since gone all stock again, stock fan and heatsink and temps are still good for a Trusty board.

Tin snipes with the grill out of the case and if it bends the part still in the grill, flatten it back down with a small hammer.

I try to keep the case intact but each to themselves. The object is to get rid of fan obstructions.

You arent going to find an X3 anymore. if its coming with the xbox, thats awesome. Xman(i think) actually put in a request thread for aladdin lcd chips, so if you are interested in an lcd enabled chip here http://www.xbmc4xbox.org.uk/forum/viewt ... ?f=13&t=89
