[SOLVED] Is the Xbox compatible with BT Infinity

I recently did away with Sky broadband and upgraded to BT infinity (fiber optic) - but since then my Xbox hasn't been able to connect through the new box

Can anyone confirm whether the xbox can/should be able to connect to a BT inifinity box?

Yep , mine is plugged straight in to the BT Home Hub 5 infinity box , is that what you are doing ?

Check your xbox network settings are set to DHCP, if they're set to static what worked with your previous router might not work with your new one.

Sorry about the late reply, but thanks guys - just had a complete mental block! Changed my settings from static to dhcp and I'm back in business
