At the risk of waking some old evil, I feel the need to inform you that there is a reason why people are not too keen about that stuff around here and on some other forums.
What does XBMC4Xbox main dev have to say about visionary?:
http://www.xbmc4xbox.org.uk/forum/viewt ... 878#p26878
What does a member of Team-XBMC and Kodi wiki admin have to say about visionary creator?:
http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid ... pid1266373
I don't want to be rude or whatever BTW, I just want you to know that beside on the coinops forum, no one will care much about this subject.
Just google "coinops forum".

Re: Where to get Coinops 7 & Visionary 5?
that will never happen as the codecs for video don't work all that well from the ffplay library and I think it may be in the too hard basket there is also a 3d rendering problem no driver for nintendo64 and other 3d titles yet.bigkidoz wrote:Coin ops for jtagged 360 is my dream.

Re: Where to get Coinops 7 & Visionary 5?
coinops is really the way of the past retro arch is really the best thing since sliced bread in terms of portability as you just make the engine and the emulators will work cross platform, so you only have to code the emulators once.
but in saying that retroarch has a different approach to coinops and coinops has had years worth of development pored into making it look nice, where retro arch is based of a minimalistic idea to gain all resources to make the emulation the best it could possibly be on crap hardware.
the 360 only has 4mb of super fast video cache ram and you have to tile any post processing or make the output fit in the 4bm ram (reducing the quality) and until it is implemented graphics post processing wont work, and no nintendo64 until a video driver is coded.
the idea would be to port retroarch to libxenon and there is a 3d driver for nintendo64 and all would work except tiling but everyone seems to want apps to run from retail and not the Linux loader?

For someone that wasn't that big on emulators, I'm quiet happy with CoinOps. Definitely surpassed my expectations.professor_jonny wrote:coinops is really the way of the past retro arch is really the best thing since sliced bread in terms of portability

Seriously guys ?
How many times to I have to re-iterate the forum rules.
Saying where to download copyrighted software from is not allowed - and it's made clear in the forum rules
