Xbox black screen

Hello,

I have alladin advance modchip with my xbox.

It has worked excellent before.

But now, pressing the button quickly turn on the microsoft dash it is okay, but laggy when going through the menus.

When starting with the modchip it's loading IND.bios and then just completely dark screen after that. I tried maybe 50-60 times and managed one time it actually booted the Xbox4xbox dash. Can it be bad harddrive or what?

Sounds like your hard drive is going bad.
