Post by TheGeekoid »

I need to create a .xpr font and i found out i need a program called FontBundle to do it. I guess it was on Xbins at one point but im not finding it anymore.

Can someone point me to it?

I can give you a link to FontBundle, but you will need two other programs to actually do anything with it (FontMaker & bundler) which are from the XDK, so we can't post links to these files here.

But if you look hard enough, you'll find them (actually finding the whole XDK is probably easier...).

Go ahead an put the link up. I already have my paws on an XDK and i see the programs your talking about. Thanks.

Would FontBundle work under wine because im on a Linux based system. Most of the things ive been doing with the Xbox work under Wine so far...

There you go, tested it and it works. Should work fine in Wine.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8e-RN ... sp=sharing

Code: Select all

FontBundle

Build your own "XPR" Fonts for MXM and other homebrew Xbox Applications!

Requires FontMaker.exe and Bundler.exe in the path.

How to use?

Run FontBundle and use it to launch the FontMaker utility.

Select your font and save off the TGA and ABC files to a directory.

Once that's done, "Load" the TGA file (will also bring in the ABC file).

Now "Build"

The resulting XPR file will be a Packed Resource file usable as a font in XDK-built applications
that use them.
