Is anyone interested in developing a front end Xlink Kai Program for the Xbox that runs outside of XBMC?

Has a program like that already been made and I just don't know where to find it?

Yes.

I did some searching and read about a program called "Bo-Xlink" however there isn't a tutorial video on youtube showcasing the program which might be nice.

Perhaps an app that works more or less like an emulator. Something that supports Online System Link and BGM tunneling as well. I'm imagining a software that uses a Project Mayhem type interface.

I suppose taking the code from a 2006 build of XBMC would be a good place to start.

I do agree, an mc360 skin would look the best.

I'm not looking to run a 2006 build of xbmc.

I'm trying to find an Xlink Kai or XBConnect program that runs outside of XBMC.

Maybe someone wants to use existing 2006 XBMC source code to compile a new Xlink Kai program.

I don't think you can do this - when running a game the xbox can't do anything at all with xbmc (basically xbmc is completely cut off the second a game is loaded)
I'm pretty sure thats why you need a pc connected - to actually run the tunnel software that makes it work!

Xlink Kai in XBMC overrides the Xbox's Internet Protocol. A person logs into Xlink Kai from interface, chooses game, server, loby then starts loads the game. Because the Internet Protocol on the Xbox now says go to this specific URL(Via Kai) the lan game options are already in game, no pc required.

Basically the PC interface for Kai supplies the Lan Lobby IP to the Xbox.

With the XBMC version of Kai, the XOBX Internet Protocol would overridden to the LAN url via XBMC-Kai application. No PC required.

I'm just looking for someone to port the old code into a new outside application. (Personally I'm down for some FARCRY or Midnight Club 3 Remix)

EU: No
Asia: No
NA: Maaaaaybe you will find a clan match, but you wont be allowed to play
SA: Usually over 500 games going on, but they are all Halo 2 and speak only spanish, and no one has communicators.

XBConnect only ever has 3-5 private games going on at a time now, but atleast 2 of them are in NA, not sure how many public games, havent checked.

Wait wait wait wait wait what? So you dont need a PC to play xlink if you use the xbmc kai??????????? even over wireless??? becasue i always had to have a pc with a static IP attached to my router to play games on wireless
