Re: Android 4.4 - KitKat
Really????? gesss.... have they bought the chocolate manufacturer too? - not really feeling it, I'm an Android fan but thats pretty tacky.
Checks calendar.... definitely not April the 1st.
I also thought Key-Lime Pie was going to be Android 5? - Kit Kat 4.4 sounds like a revamp and a roll in glitter and another increment of 4.x Jelly Bean to me.....

Re: Android 4.4 - KitKat
Key-Lime / Android 5 = Rumor. Google never said anything official about this.
Eclair was 2.0, *Froyo was 2.2, Gingerbread was 2.3. And yet, there is very big differences between all these.
I don't see why 4.4 would not have big changes.
I really don't think Google need Nestle to promote their stuff. Just for the sake of a laugh.
Don't you like KitKat ? One of the only chocolate bar that I like. ^^
Now.. Did the Android team changed in the last few week..
Jean-Baptiste: Leader of the Android Open Source Project. Left because of the trouble Qualcomm caused.
Hugo Barra: Android product management VP. Left because Sergey Brin, co-founder of Google was screwing is wife.
So, yeah, there might be a few change to come.

I think you mean froyo and not frodo phaze
I'm sure it's a typo but I'm fairly sure it was based on frozen yogurt and not some weirdo from the Hobbit

I certainly cannot disagree with your point, and its the general opinion on most social media.

German really?

They seem to be working with Nestle on this:

I don't care how it's code named, but I would like to know what they plan on including in the release

Can't say I approve of them getting into bed with Nestle.
I don't buy any Nestle products.
Was watching a documentary just the other day about more dodgy practises from them regarding bottled water. (http://www.bottledlifefilm.com/index.php/home-en.html) and then in the past was the way they marketed infant formula.

Re: Android 4.4 - KitKat
It's non paid joint venture on both sides.
Can't really say if it's going to be good for Google (I don't care about Nestlè).
I'm also more interested in the new features but with 4.4 in mind I don't predict much... something along the side of 4.2 > 4.3
One thing is certain I'll update my new Nexus 7 2013 ASAP
