Nintendo world championships ? it was a nintendo game made for that purpose it has 3 games in one time limited and adds up the scores at the end of the three games.
It was part of the nintendo power play in 1988 used to promote the nintendo entertainment system and to find an internaltional gamer for promotional aspects of the system at the time.
You would have to run an emulator on the xbox for the clasic nes system to play it but it would do the trick very fun and for those around then who completed in the international championship it would bring back memories of the old days.
if you were lucky enough you could pick up a reprint game for a few dollars and an old nes console for a $50 on ebay.

That's a new one on me, thanks PJ I'll certainly look into that. Even if it's not used at the xbmchub fest it sounds like something I might enjoy at home anyway

That's a real shame mate. I think I've talked a couple of old mates from High Wycombe into coming down for a few jars so we could have all travelled together as I know you're only about 10 miles from there. Well if you change your mind let me know and we'll sort something out.

Yeah I'm pretty gutted! was hoping to have a few beers and hook up with the rest of the old Xbox fans.... - I was offered the overtime at work and the $ signs rolled in my eyes and I said yes... so I've got no choice really now.

Well I think I managed to do my bit for the xbox cause, think a few people were quite surprised with what the old girl can do. Anyway a great time was had and it was great to see a fellow xbox user there (iceman).
I made t-shirts for myself and a mate, here's the back...
