Re: black screen when choosing programs option
I've fixed this problem using the Hexen disc, basically I re-installed the softmod. I still don't know what caused the problem in the first place though?

Hi Murphio, I know exactly what you mean :? I have had one removed. I complained to ebay that they aren't being fair, I've had an confirmation of my email, but nothing has been done! They either have to remove ALL modded and soft-modded Xboxes from the site, or leave eveyone alone? That's why I have...

Re: 2 faulty xbox motherboards for sale (UK)
I'm very interested in how you got it fixed. I've got a v1.4 motherboard which I killed though attempting a TSOP flash (still not sure what went wrong). I bought and installed a 28-wire mod, but it didn't work (probably my bad soldering!). Hi ted209, see my post "TSOP mobo working with flashed...

TSOP mobo working with flashed Akira v2 modchip
Hi everyone, I have two mobos, both were for sale on the marketplace, that I messed up with bad TSOP flashes, a 1.1 and 1.4. I have got the 1.1 working again using an Akira v2 modchip. I soldered a pinheader to the board, and D0 point to earth. It all booted up fine, then I tried the Hexen disc to s...

Re: Xecutor 3
"Akira v2" modchip, this starts with a blue X logo, no flubber animation, and boots straight to XBMC4XBOX 3.0, which also says bios type "unknown" in the System info screen. I don`t think its flashable, but I might be wrong? So could I swap the chips over... Both Xboxes are v1.4...

Re: What modchip is this?
I think I`ll leave it on the board it's on, it's working fine :) Last time a mate of mine did the soldering for a TSOP for me, and it worked fine, until I flashed it with a wrong BIOS and F****D it up! My new motto is "If it ain't broke don't mess with it!" lol :D I have a spare Akir...
