Re: Show Us Your Modded IND Bios
Only thing I done was have a custom config path  I prefer a clean boot up, so no animations or logos. I may at some point see if I can even remove the loading ind-bios txt. Ow well I may be able to help you. Give this IND config file a test drive. Just re-name your existing ind-bios.cfg in you...

Show Us Your Modded IND Bios
I've been ripping out modchips and TSOPing machines and using the IND bios. As I'm new to this bios, I want to see what you guys are using to give me some ideas. A big thumb for the pretty ones.

Re: Afraid of messing this thing up.
Sounds like you have partially deleted your softmod maybe. Make sure you have only one XBMC folder in your booting location that is called XBMC. You can call any other folder something like XBMC2 and it won't be an issue but having two called XBMC in the booting location will cause a machine that wo...

Re: Apple boys?
Apple tech question.... Not being much of an apple fan... I gave up after my iPad/iPod technically became doorwedges overnight as apple refused to update them... but anyways... I bought a couple of phones from a police lost/found unclaimed auction... one an iphone 4s is of course looked and deactiv...

Re: Cheap And Easy Xbox HDMI
I did this machine of my son's a couple of weeks back with the ON OFF controller switch mod but it was only temporary, mainly to check out the mod because I knew he would use it a lot and I also knew his would get the HDMI mod when the parts arrived. It turned out I actually swapped out the mother b...

Re: Hard Drive partition sizes help please
Well the M8 bios should be seeing the whole drive. I use that bios with partitions up to 1Tb with no issues. I always use the Slayer's disc for building HDDs and I know using it there is a choose of all F or F and G. I'm not real sure how HeXEn handles this task. You may need to look at the hard dri...

Re: Hard Drive partition sizes help please
Use HeXEn to rebuild the HDD with all on F drive so you end up with all the content on F drive or change your bios to an F and G drive bios and the remaining HDD space will appear on the G drive. Two ways to fix it, it's up to you how you do it.

Re: Cheap And Easy Blue Tooth Audio.
Now it is a lot more useful. :D You are always going to have troubles trying to get a signal out of a grounded metal shield after all, that is exactly what the shield is there for, to stop interference from coming out of or entering the Xbox. While Blue Tooth isn't exactly interference it is still l...

Re: Cheap And Easy Blue Tooth Audio.
Cool, well at least I know it does work not that there was any reason for it not to work. I would be disappointed if mine only works about 30cm though, I was expecting at least 10 feet as quoted by the Blue Tooth transmitter manufactures and it would be nice to see actually how you did it. More to t...

Re: Android tablet?
Not an expert on the tablets but what I can say is what I like and what I don't like. I have a Tab S 10.5 and two Tab 3 10.1. Both charge on 5vDc USB. All are 16gb but all also take another SD card. I use 64GB SD cards as the "other" SD card in all the tablets. Much cheaper than buying a 6...

Re: FileZella Question
Yer thanks for the help on this one guys. In the past I have always just gone Xbox to Xbox using my LAN and actually been quite impressed by how many machines you can have all once on the LAN doing this at the same time. I have also gone from an Xbox to the PC and download it on the PC's USB HDD and...

FileZella Question
Ive never had a need to do this before but after looking I can't see if it is even possible. Maybe I'm missing something though, that is why I am asking. I've always used FileZella to FTP to and from an Xbox on my network. The local being my PC and the remote being an Xbox. Works sweet and I rarely ...

Re: Controller Compatabillity in Games
I find that hard to believe as the xbox ignores the usb id string it just works it is really only Linux that has problems with non Microsoft controllers. I wish I knew that about 4 hours ago when I was using gentoo to do a TSOP on a 1.4 Winbond machine. Controller works perfectly until Gentoo is in...

Re: Can I download legit copies of games to my hdd with xbmc
Is there a tutorial on putting a bigger hdd in the xbox without downloading viruses? I want to put xbmc on my 1tb hdd, and transfer my games to that hdd instead of having a disc drive. You can use DVD2Xbox to load and convert your games to the Xbox HDD and then FTP those games to your PC's HDD. Onc...

Re: Emulate Disc Drive
You can also use a modded no DVD bios like this one. M8+ E-XBMC FG no DVD256kb.zip This works fine providing the hard drive you are using is less than about 600Gb in size. It is a modded M8 bios I made some time ago for all my slims with no flubber and no DVD check however the DVD path is still inta...

Re: [SOLVED] XBMC wont load - identify my chip/softmod
I use M8 bioses myself. They are quick, reliable and do what I want them for. They also work with HDDs from stock 8GB up to 2TB. They enable me to use one style of bios for every machine I have irrespective of the size of HDD and therefore I can swap HDDs from one machine to another without any issu...
