Great, thanks for the advice. Yep I'm currently running a fan on the heatsink, must have been an extra cold day when it was at 41C because now its averaging around 45C the last few days. As Bigkidoz suggested I'll prob mount another slimline fan to get it back to around 40C hopefully.

I can confirm what Xphazer said above, it doesn't fit in the place reserved for the X3IR on the X3CP as its to big. I tried to get the internal dongle to use the X3IR eye with the diode, it worked but really short distance compared to the MS dongle eye. Reverted back to the MS dongle eye, but having...

I found it interesting that my IDE to SATA adapter works mint with my Seagate Barracuda 2TB in my X3CE v1.4 Xbox, but in my X3CE v1.1 Xbox with the same adapter and HDD it has the spin up time issue and needs an external power source
