Re: How to change thermal paste on CPU/GPU Heatsinks
Also, Not to hijack your thread, but by using a very very light amount of lighter fluid (Ronsonol Brand)
I was able to achive this in a matter of minutes, using quick applications of a q tip then quickly wiping it off, isopropyl had no effect for me

Re: Switching from Softmod to Hardmod.
Also, i just tried it, worked fine with no video, i plug in video, the psu starts buzzing and i get static lines across the screen, i can still see everything, but there are static lines on the screen, did i fuck it up or is it just because its a CRT and the psu was out of the RF sheild?

Switching from Softmod to Hardmod.
Xman will be happy to hear this . I am switching from a Softmod to a Hardmo, anything I should do with regard to the Softmod? I have a 300gb HD with F taking all, how will that be affected by the BIOS partitioning options? Should I remove the Softmod before I activate the Chip? Etc

On the socket, the solder points on the bottom, everything seems to be connected to everything, which is weird, seeing as its a stereo socket. that is why i am wondering which side of the sockets solder...

Re: My latest experiment
Yeah I've got one of them on the screen downstairs. I also have one that's just a bare circuit board with component plus some other inputs, that I used to use before I figured out the sync on green thing on this monitor. They are pretty handy. :) The LCD pictured is 1080p so I feel it would be a &q...
