Re: How to Use Chimp (Updated)
Thank you for your input, and your recommendations were added to the original post. I never thought about that as I personally have never used an adapter. Good catch. Resistance is futile.

Re: System clock wrong- lithium battery problem?
Sounds like a capacitor is dead and leaked. Then it corroded the traces on the front of your board. Would need pictures for visual evidence.

Swapping the steering wheel to the left side so that Aussie tornado hunters don't confuse me when they're shooting video? Much appreciated.

Swap the pins for eject and power. Takes 5 minutes, and your eject button becomes power and vice versa. How I do all mine anyway.

Yo. That sucks. I know a similar feeling. I tore the ligaments in my right ankle in early November and had to have those fixed up. Still not walking right to this day. Get well soon bud.

The Xbox will handle the auto environment well. It is not the first one I have seen function well inside of a vehicle.

I always assumed you were a guy. Guess I can be wrong. All I was stating was that softmods are not really touchy. You just give the dash a home and set the xbox to look for it there. I find them easy personally.

Sorry for the double post, and what I was saying "Bull" to was the softmods needing special treatment, not your solution.

Maybe I was a bit too "direct", and I apologize for that. Glad you sorted that out though. I only have one question... Why the need for chamomile tea for that comment? I was a bit perplexed.

Bull, use a Slayer's disc and set the path. Put XBMC in either E:\Apps\ or F:\Apps\ and chose the correct variant.

Xman, save me a couple. I will pick them up when I arrive in Australia in a few weeks. I'll trade you for that bottle of Wild Turkey 75th. Sound like a deal?

Cisco SLM2048 Network Switch
I know this isn't Xbox related, but it is networking related. I have a Cisco SLM 48 Port Gigabit network switch that I am looking to get rid of. Thing is, it worked great when my ex and I were together in our large house that needed that many ports, but frankly I do not need it anymore as my 24 port...

Re: Emulator Shortcuts
This one is relatively easy. Make sure all your emulators are in a folder (ex: E:\emulators\), and each emulator is in their own subfolder of that. (ex: E:\emulators\NES\, E:\emulators\N64\, etc). Then in your XBMC home screen, (I will assume you are using Confluence Lite) select Programs and press ...

Re: How to Use Chimp (Updated)
Interesting. A new issue. You can verify that this HDD works in a computer and is functioning? The next question is are you sure that the power supply you are using is functioning correctly? I'm curious now.

Re: How to Use Chimp (Updated)
Okay, the solution sounds simple here. Check your jumpers on the back of the hard drives. Using the as a visual aid, these are jumpers. http://support.seagate.com/kbimg/M_a2.gif As I do not know your exact HDD, please verify that your jumper settings on the Maxtor are set to Slave, and that you set ...
