Re: Help with modding xbox?
Are you saying that the xbox can launch an iso file located on the hdd? I never knew the xbox could do that? NKPatcher lets you do that. It's less convenient than extracted images on the HDD if you ask me but it has certain advantages. Troublesome games with longer filenames (like Toca Race...

Re: Help with modding xbox?
Ok, I really need help. I've FTP'd into my xbox, but I don't know what to do next! I have some questions, too: 1) Is my c drive supposed to be empty? 2) Is the nkp11 folder in my e drive supposed to be empty? 3) Where do I put game isos? 4) .xbe's are xbox applications right? If I put them in the a...

Re: Trusty 1.4GHZ/733mhz 128mb ram
Just did a 80mm fan mod with very odd results indeed, as soon as i powered it back on the temp started going through the roof  I tried cutting some of the slats away behind the fan for better air flow & even that made little difference. as soon as i spun the fan round to blow air in the ...

Re: XBMC & No DVD drive issues
Just remember the system doesn't allow for an "open" signal, only "closed" or "high resistance". Try using a resistor across the switch. Electronics works by seeing a Low or High signal. High is when the voltage is around 5vDc, low is when it is below 2vDC. You need th...

Re: XBMC & No DVD drive issues
There are two switches in the DVDrive. Even though you are not using a DVDrive as such, you are using a board to simulate one. One switch you have set to tell the machine it is "busy". Change this switch the other way so it isn't busy and set the other switch to tell the machine the "...

Re: XBMC & No DVD drive issues
The log, whilst debug is enabled, provides the calls to the functions being summoned; this will provide BuZz an idea of where the call may be hanging. Done that & there is nothing I could see after "INFO: Loading skin file: FileManager.xml" It not hanging as such, its just taking say ...

DualBoot for Flashed TSOPs
As the title states, I put this together so we can get dual booting on TSOPed xbox's. I done this for my own use, since I like to boot into XBMC4Kids mostly & saves me jumping through menus to load another dash. OK, here is an update. Here are the changes I have made. Made the tray close just be...
