It was also off a 7600GT, this one to be precise: http://xtreview.com/images/xpertvision_7600gt.jpg its under the white plastic. The green one was off a card like this: http://img.tomshardware.com/us/2006/03/09/ati_and_nvidias_same_day_mega_launch_mayhem/7600gt02.jpg I'm not sure what the difference...

Re: WTB Iceberq 4 Pro VGA Cooling Kit
Has anyone ever tried finding a Heatsink that matches the IceBerq 4 Pro? I mean just one that has the mounting points in the same spot? This cant have been the only VGA heatsink with that footprint can it? The heat sinks from older graphics cards fit nicely with minimal bodging. I think these were ...

Re: Component mod help
I think the way I'd do it is cut the connector off a set of xbox A/V cables and install the switches into that. That way you can just unplug the connector module and plug in any set of A/V cables if you needed too, without having to worry about which setting the switches are on. Alternatively you co...

Re: What is this on the back of my XBOX
Just so I'm clear, you've plugged the xbox in using a cable like this? http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j44/jimmo_2006/cmc1000-component-cable_zps3seriz5q.jpg~original Really I can only guess at how those connectors are wired inside the xbox but I'd assume you'd get exactly the same output as you w...

Re: What is this on the back of my XBOX
Looks like component(YPbPr) out and maybe the white one is digital audio. It means you won't have to buy xbox component leads to get 480p/720p out, although you will need some male to male component leads.

Re: Original Hard Modded Xbox Died , Can i Swap HDD Out
Oooh nasty! That does seem to be a fuse(my mistake), I'd not heard of them blowing before. would hooking it up to my PC via a IDE caddy work ? If its unlocked then Xplorer360 will be able to read it. Trying that would be a good test to see if it is locked. You can't unlock a hard drive that way thou...

Re: Original Hard Modded Xbox Died , Can i Swap HDD Out
Ive seen the blown fuse . Its burnt out and I think the solder pad is missing now too after I messed around with it :( Can you take a picture of it for us? If not can describe where it is on the motherboard? Is there any text near it? Again I'm not sure there are any fuses on the motherboard, so ma...

Re: Original Hard Modded Xbox Died , Can i Swap HDD Out
if i bought a cheap 2nd hand xbox and installed a modchip could i just swap the drives over and use my old drive ? yes if it isn't locked. If it is locked then things will be a bit more tricky. Repairing your current motherboard might well be easier. What exactly happens when you try and turn it on...

Re: Liquid cool my xbox plz
I'm typing this on my almost completely silent water cooled PC, and whilst water cooling is jolly good fun, it would be completely overkill on an xbox and a colossal waste of money and time. Just replace the thermal paste if you haven't already and the fan too if you feel it needs it. Very cheap and...

Re: Sound Output At The AVI Plug.
I reckon it'll work. I used to use headphones connected directly to the xbox with no amp and had to have the volume at -30 otherwise it would be too loud. I doubt you'd be able to hear much from those speakers once they're inside the xbox but for the LED effect thingy I'm sure it would work. I don't...

Glad I could help
I always have a set of ArctiClean for removing the thermal paste in PCs and it works on the xbox bubblegum too. Certainly not worth buying if you're only going to use it once though.

I've zipped things together to make it easy for you. Download and unzip. You can edit the network section, in evox.ini in the evox folder, to save using the controller to do it on the xbox. This is optional. Run EVtool, click open and open \all you need V3\evox\Bios\M8plus.bin Choose what you want f...
