Most of the people here would be using XBMC as their main dash, I think BuZz still fires a line of code or two at it as and when its needed/time permits, but it still works very well for SD content - if your softmod still works which it looks like it is then you can look at updating it, not sure wha...

Hmmmm I usually find modded xboxes faster to boot with the newer higher performing drives... I was going to suggest cluster size, but it looks correct. I've had some IDE/SATA adaptors that are a bit flakey... could be worth trying another, and some dont like 80 strand cables, try it back with the xb...

Why 480p?

The Xbox is easily capable of outputing 720p over component, and it looks pretty good too!
