And you're welcome For the large files I might suggest re-encoding with a smaller picture size or bitrate, with tools like Handbrake or similar - that'll make them play on Xbox. Look for similar threads discussing video encoding tools around.

I completely omitted the DVDPLayer part try playing with that and then change it as your default video player. No, there is no VLC nor VLC plugins support in XBMC4Xbox - the thing has 64 MB of RAM in it, it's amazing that it does what it does already you will be ok with DVDPlayer, try it on.

You seem to be played the video with MPlayer. Either press white button on your controller and choose Play Using... or change the default video player in Settings > Video to DVDPlayer.
