In some instances you can wipe a drive removing the ATA password by doing a secure erase.

you would boot into linux live distro and run HDparm from terminal, it could recover your drive it does not allways work but it is worth a try.

i dont think it should say bank 1-8 should be 1-4 or 4-8 as there are no 2mb bioses avalable that i am aware of. Id flash on another x3 bios in banks 1-4 or 4-8. or some other bios with features you want. in the eeprom in the chip it stores config info of the default.xbe to boot from but im not sure...

Is it formatted to the correct sector format as you may of corrupted it copying on files if it was formatted incorectly.

you have likely missoldered something on the lpc board, or solder splater somewhere on th e motherboard. if you remove d0 connection to ground it should boot the original bios if not you need to check your soldering and hope something is not broken now. i dont like qsb's id go for a wire lpc rebuild...

I'm wondering if a few people could try read from an Xbox memory cart and just let us know if they see any errors or bugs?

Eaton says he is getting errors generated but has not had anyone report any bugs and is is unsure if it is a bug or just poorly formatted memory units.
