Re: Work in progress - making the xbox up-to-date and sleek
Cheers, its currently hard set to hidef. I have switches but was toying with adding vga also so not added them yet. I was going to have just a vga connector and use it for both component and vga and just boot a vga bios to switch but decided against it. Not sure of the best vga route to go yet or if...

Re: Enable keyboard to be able to use onscreen keyboard?
To answer my own question you must add <navigatevirtualkeyboard>true</navigatevirtualkeyboard> to advancedsettings.xml Eg: <advancedsettings> <navigatevirtualkeyboard>true</navigatevirtualkeyboard> </advancedsettings> If you have other settings in there make this one the first setting. I had it as t...

Cheers, I appreciate your time spent on your project and shareing with us. I know how time gets eaten away with these things. It seems like 10 mins have gone and its been about 2 hours lol and there's a moaning female somewhere (although there's always the facebook argument to fall back on )

Re: Work in progress - making the xbox up-to-date and sleek
Cheers yeah, 1ghz would be good or 1.4ghz :) I'd try do myself but getting the time to do anything these days is a nightmare so may give N64 freak a nudge at somepoint, as that that won't be 10min project lol. I considered an SSD but wanted 1TB to clone my 1TB 3.5", i'm really happy with the to...

Enable keyboard to be able to use onscreen keyboard?
The subject sounds an odd request but... I have a Tendraw USB Infrared remote that allows remote power on of the xbox :) which is a bonus. The other bonus is it works on the xbox usb 1.1. It acts as a usb keyboard and I can reprogram any key to do anything a normal keyboard does (most keys are alrea...

Re: Laptop Drive / Blu-ray Question
Hi mate, check out my thread on making the xbox sleeker. I used a toshiba/samsung slot load sata dvd drive. As with any pc drive you really need to get bring/modify the correct signals from the drive to interface with the yellow dvd drive cable. I first tried with a liteon slot loader but it was imp...

I use to love playing far cry instincts on it. It helped me get rid of the first wife that's got to be worth more than a head shot!
