This is a standard crystal case, with green jewel and green lights. I also have a ghostcase Xbox. It will come in this thread later.

Thanks, I am happy with it too. One of the diodes are acting up though, so may redo it. Maybe with a few less diodes, it got very bright like it is now (6 diodes)

Went on and mounted diodes under a new green jewel. Thought the result was pretty decent myself. Wiring not finished, but tried the diodes to see how it looked :) https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171028/2b56d45e232465517545444bae4e9948.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171028/45700ea541bed326...

Re: Ludvigs Xboxes, WIP and finished results (until next mod :p)

Did a test run on the Xbox after fan mod and clock cap removal, and I got this weird sound that seems to come from the psu may it be a sign that it will fail soon? Could it be other stuff? Also both my extra dvd drives failed on this Xbox, can't read the discs. Sometimes I get unknown disc in dvd2xb...

Re: Ludvigs Xboxes, WIP and finished results (until next mod :p)

After that it was one for a 80mm fan. Started with removing the clips holding the stock fan, and cutting down the fan to fit in the space. I also cut the hdd tray. After several cuts I finally got it to fit pretty snug, just to realise that it hit the plastic on the side of the power connector. So I...

Re: Ludvigs Xboxes, WIP and finished results (until next mod :p)

Removed everything from the crystal case, and gave the plastic and metal parts a good clean :) Also removed the clock cap, no sign of any leaks. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171026/d1284d3fc6693534d32a331d317d03f8.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171026/1b9c3ca02dd4573f11f92a1fd4565bf4.j...

Giveaway, 1.6 mb with chip and bad caps (gone)

I wondered if anyone is interested in a 1.6 mb with chip and faulty caps. I will gladly donate it to someone for postage, mind you postage from Norway is expensive. I will give quote if anyone is interested. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171026/9078214e8d34b88af59181ad3975195b.jpg https://uploa...

Re: Ludvigs Xboxes, WIP and finished results (until next mod :p)

The case is a bit rough, so I decided to swap the case from an faulty Crystal Xbox i have. I will do a 80mm fan mod and some light mods on this. The plan is a green jewel, and green lights under the jewel. The thing I am not sure about yet, is if I shall keep the shield in the lid, remove and show t...

Ludvigs Xboxes, WIP and finished results (until next mod :p)

Figured I would make a post, and show my Xboxes and modding I do to them. Starting off with a 1.1, it is in for a major overhaul. Started off today with removing it from the case and starting with cleaning, changing the thermal compound on both CPU and GPU. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171026/...

Softmod and clock cap removal

I have a 1,1 Xbox I believe, that I plan to remove the clock cap. I have read some about time loop error, and wondered if that is an issue with later softmods? It's modded with rockys 2017 softmod. Also I can't find an article that shows the 1.1, so I wondered if anyone can help me to be sure I remo...

Re: English term for switch

I may have been very bad at formulating my first post. I am looking for a small size glide switch with 2 on positions and 1 off position. I will read on the links and see what I can learn :)

English term for switch

I am looking to get a small switch with the 3 positions so I can run 2 different lights. But I am not sure what to search for on English. Will a 3 position switch be correct? Found some sliding ones on eBay, will link to them later. Description just says on and off, but it also says 3 position. Sent...

Correct. Have been using a step down converter, but it has started to act up. Instead of getting a new one I was hoping to change the psu instead.

Re: Xbox won't boot

Thanks alot. I reconsidered, and now I am searching for a 220v powersupply instead. But if I don't find one, I will order a step down converter.

Re: Xbox won't boot

I would prefer that too, but then I need to find one.... May be easier to buy a step down converter. But if anyone got an 220v power supply for a..... I believe it's a 1. It has the gpu fan...... I would love to buy one.

Yeah, it's pricey, but still cheaper than the eBay ones I can find that ships to Norway.
