Re: Good soldering iron?

Use a small amount of flux to clean your copper contacts first and the rest almost does itself

I love unsoldering one of the led's, bending the legs the other way and soldering it back in so you always get 1 red 1 green and orange stays orange :D

Re: Lost Softmod: Errors 7 & 21

Are you sure that the softmod has gone from the original drive? they throw up errors if they try to load a softmod twice, if it still plays pirate disks then the softmod is still there, also if you can try backing up a audio disk with the ms dash you will see if the hdd has packed up for sure.

Re: DIY slimbox mod.

Hi ya, I made one of these some time ago but when i had finished it, it dawned on me that the stock case bolts were to long to re use, is there an easy way around this or should cut them down and get my die set out? Cheers :)

Wow! you fellas have some really cool boxes! :D Couldn't resist adding mine up here that I'm doing at the moment, and here is a little bit of proof that life goes on after a RROD, or at least it does for the case. Many thanks for all the great work with XBMC4XBOX, I love it and use it daily. DSC0000...
