Re: ESPN

If you're after the live streams of ESPN try Hammy 35 Streams on Navi-X, I just tried and currently it's down but I'd imagine it will be back up again soon. I also have a sports section with a link to ESPN in it on Navi-X, I think if you install Navi-X from the A4X Installer it makes my playlist the...

Re: XBMC4Xbox Remote - Android app

Basically I'm using an ebook reader with e-ink and they aren't designed to act as android tablets - I just rooted it because I could :). As such any scrolling is jittery and flickers a bit, it's a fairly small screen too so you can make out it's an rss feed but the fonts are garbled and unreadable. ...

Re: SVN REPO INSTALLER

We still use the old convention of scripts and plugins. On mainbranch xbmc (not xbmc4xbox) everything is now called "Addons" and have a slightly different structure to the xbox, this has been the case for a few years now. A rough guide - plugins vs scripts: Plugin: This is something that s...

Brilliant, can you post up a link to the official thread and ask people to vote on the poll if they are coming, we just need to know roughly how many to cater for. http://www.xbmchub.com/forums/announcem ... -poll.html

Re: XBMC4Xbox Remote - Android app

Dan I've just rooted my nook ebook reader and have installed this so I can use it to control the music playback while I'm in the garden. It works a treat, I'm loving this thanks. I do have a couple of requests though... I like to use it as a kind of jukebox and when I click a song I like it to be ad...

Not sure if it's working on xbox or not but the current working version of itv player is on the xbmchub repository, I think it was Mikey that fixed it up and looks after it now.

Re: Aladdin XT Plus2 for sale

Thanks asbo, so you've had experience with that company before? I had always been wary of AliExpress after reading some bad reports but I've done business with plenty of other Chinese sellers before so I may have to give these a go if you think they are legit.

Re: Aladdin XT Plus2 for sale

I do actually need some modchips, I have about 10 xboxes in the workshop that I want to chip but I would imagine postage won't be all that cheap from Poland. Can anyone recommend somewhere to get a cheap modchip? I know xman used to get his from DX but are they still doing them? This will be my firs...

Re: Can you try this repo please!

Funnily enough I've just been sorting out the xbox in my shed and am just abouts to try and see if I can fix a couple of mainbranch addons. If I get time I'll take a look mate. This xbmc4xbox v3.3 is running very sweet, I'm really impressed.

Re: XBMC HUB Festival in UK - You're all invited!

That's a real shame mate. I think I've talked a couple of old mates from High Wycombe into coming down for a few jars so we could have all travelled together as I know you're only about 10 miles from there. Well if you change your mind let me know and we'll sort something out.

That's a new one on me, thanks PJ I'll certainly look into that. Even if it's not used at the xbmchub fest it sounds like something I might enjoy at home anyway :)

Sounds as though one of your thumbsticks on the gamepad has got stuck. Try wiggling them both about a bit and see if that will release it.

Re: xbmc4xbox vs. xbmc4android

If your main purpose is to stream content then I'd personally go for mainbranch, probably raspberry pi or android. We don't have many developers for this platform so the choice of addons are limited as they all need code changed to work on the good old xbox. There are some good ones available though...

Re: xbmc4xbox vs. xbmc4android

Depends what you use it for. Android still has a few little bugs whereas xbmc4xbox is very stable. It also depends on which android box you go for as to speed but I would say the following: Android pro's: Full hd playback All mainbranch addons work Faster navigation (depending on the device specs) A...
