Re: Trusty 1ghz Xbox owners here?
Still curious on the bus speed of the 1Ghz CPU? is it 133mhz the same as the 733 CPU? I seem to remember the 1.5Ghz DreamX loosing out on power due to its 100Mhz bus... I'm guessing the CPU denotes the speed of the clock so there is no way of overclocking? Also found these:- http://www.fuzing.com/v...

Re: Trusty 1ghz Xbox owners here?
Thanks for the info Professor Johnny
I'm a newb to some terms used but this https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/logic-levels/all article helped me.
EDIT:
From my research on the Intel docs it looks like the steps are as follows?
1.) GHI# Join to VSS
2.) Cut trace BCLK#
3.) Cut trace STPCLK#

Re: Trusty 1ghz Xbox owners here?
the two pins are tied to vcc with pullups internally in the processor core forcing it to startup in a low power state by default even if the if the core voltage is at running at 1.6v. Professor Johnny is VSS the low signal? Would the below info mean join VSS and GHI# for “Maximum performance” mode?...

Re: Trusty 1ghz Xbox owners here?
Going back to the pin modifications, am I correct in thinking you need to connect pins GHI# to VCCT to bypass the SpeedStep?? But what two traces need to be cut? EDIT: Actually is GHI# connected to VSS (ground)? Thanks :) Intel's Info: The GHI# signal controls which operating mode bus ratio is selec...

Re: Trusty 1ghz Xbox owners here?
Because it is a laptop cpu its running Intel's speedstep technology, and by default clocks down slightly. I remember a post on Xbox Sence when I was researching the cpu upgrade where Trusty mentions he had to modify pins/solder balls for the speedstep. Perhaps there is a pdf on Intel's site with spe...

Is the latest xbmc version using the same provider? I found it works sometimes but more often than not it can't download weather info.

Thanks, I'm glad someone else can enjoy it as well as myself .
Along with giving the the ideas a go xman suggested, I want to try incorporating the "List 2" display option from PM3 into this skin next.

Another place selling new P3 mobile 495 sockets, so you don't need to re-ball the old one.

Re: Trusty motherboard dying - any ideas to help?
I was thought that might be the case that some solder balls are missing, the place I'm talking to has XRay for BGA as well. So can confirm what solder balls are missing on my current board Trusty fitted the socket to. I am aware that the adapter is needed that's almost imposable to make, but I alrea...

Re: Trusty motherboard dying - any ideas to help?
What modifications does Trusty do to the motherboard to run the 1.4ghz CPU with the adapter other than fit a socket? I saw a small wire under the motherboard around the CPU area between two traces, but other than that I couldn't spot anything obvious. My Trusty powered Xbox seems to power off by its...

Re: Case Mods Showcase
Thanks for the comments. @Royalx - Good idea, I did the ones behind the fan, but will do the sides and see what results I get. @Nextelhalo - Good spotting on the rear fan, I originally had it exhausting the air, but then gave pushing the air in a go and found that it did drop the temp quite a bit as...
