Re: XBOX will not power up

I think there is a fuse on the PSU, but i am not sure at all. It should be possible to check the powersupply though.

Re: NEW SITE LAUNCHED www.totalXBMC.tv

Good work Lee. I see you even have some info on my latest project there. XBMC on the OUYA. It feels a bit like the first time i softmodded my XBox, a gaming console converted to a mediacenter :) I have managed to sideload play store now, so i can have the Norwegian music streaming app, Wimp an the O...

Back in the game, starting over with a old XBox

I have an old XBox wich i havent use for ages. Main reasons is that it need 220v -> 110v converter. Bit now i have decided to give it to my nieses and nephew. So here comes a few questions. What is the easiest way to start over? Just start with a fresh build and delete the old one? In that case what...

Re: "UPS" for the RPi

Im guessing the generator puts out 240v ? If so get two 240v charges one on each generator and put them across the battery to charge it and put a diode in series with each charger then use use a phone charger as suggested above to power the rpi you could also ues 2 relays on the 240v circuit to clo...

This is not far from it. But the size of the UPS batteries are easier to hide in the tv-bench than a car battery.

Re: "UPS" for the RPi

Taken from the official r-pi FAQ's: Can I run power Raspberry Pi from batteries as well as from a wall socket? Yes. The device should run off 4 x AA rechargeable cells, but there may be stability issues as the batteries lose their charge. Using 4 x AA Alkaline cells will result in 6v and it is ther...

Re: "UPS" for the RPi

I would turn off turn on the RPI when needed. 40 secs boot isn't much. Or if possible only change generator when the other one is already running. The thing is that i am on work only every second week, and the other shift also uses the RPi. I don't trust them to turn it off before changing generato...

"UPS" for the RPi

Half the year i live at work on a barrage out at sea (Fish Farm) http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg142/Ludvig82/IMG_0072Medium.jpg The barrage is powered by generators, one we use during daytime when we feed the fish cause of the high power consumption. But at evenings and night we run a smaller ...

Re: Original X-Box DVD remote on RPi?

Could someone post the whole xbox dvd dongle part of the lirc file? I screwed it up trying to edit it via ssh on my asus transformer. I could not get norwegian keyboardsetup, so it got wrong and somehow it seemed to be saved even though i closed the connection.

Yeah the skin is very customisable so you can name it what you want, it's basically just a link to your favourites so you really can stick anything you want in there and easily change the background too. Just got back and am now trying to find somewhere to upload to - any ideas? MEGA is being a bit...

Re: Original X-Box DVD remote on RPi?

Just got my xbox ir dongle working too using a usb adapter by following the method posted by Xphazer here BUT I wanted to re-map a few keys like 3 & 6 as volume up/down and 0 as queue to playlist, it was kind of unclear what to edit when I started my search but in the end I managed to figure it...

Thanks for the suggestions, tried the movie db as well but that one doesn't work either. I've just tried ember but that didn't seem to work either. Just trying media companion - it's taking ages so fingers crossed it is working! Hmm, i just downloaded the lates version today, and it works like a ch...
