@Dawscaus - yes in theory but unfortunately no completed profile was ever created for the xbox so plex would only play media already compatible with xbox playback.

You shouldn't need to change the speed imo. the stock fan itself would only run at 20% and was enough for the xbox not to overheat, so if you have added a better silent fn even at 20 % there will be a difference in noise and air flow. The fan i bought was called redwing i think and its a decent one ...

i think thats only on a fresh install, if theres already a icon cached then i think its needs to be deleted first, maybe somewhere in userdata folder or something? i cant remember exactly but im sure someone will clear this up soon

hi all, just wondering if anyone has any info on some emulators that allow real disks of that system that can be used with the xbox. As far as im aware you can but you need to mod the pad yourself. i dont think an adapter was ever made for it.

could be mate, do they show up via ftp in the folders? i use a good program on the computer called gxiso i think its called basically does the same job as dvd4xbox only on the computer so that the files can be transferred over saving uite abit of time copying it directly from the disk drive.

check all the caps not just the ones around where the clock cap is located. also what was in like inside when you opened it up after storage, sometimes a good clean can work wonders too. theres at least a few of the xboxs ive got not working only to clean them and there working again

have you checked the capacitors to see if any are leaking or bulging? i noticed in a few of mine with no error screen that it was usually this that caused it and as a result have quite a few knocking about broken
