Re: Need help with Tsop recovery after bad flash..
OP, you said that you did not solder anything, how did you bridged the "TSOP enable write" contacts? Also you have no need to solder the D0 and A15 from my picture, you only stuck the wire in the holes and they can make contact. If you use a too powerfull soldering iron, you risc to break ...

Re: Need help with Tsop recovery after bad flash..

Re: Wanted: Eeprom reader/writer
If you know how to solder you can make this reader:
http://www.lancos.com/prog.html
OR you can search for a modchip and then you can use unlocked HDD's
And PonyProg as software:http://www.lancos.com/prog.html

Re: Open source Xbox Live project (update Jan 8 2017)
Xlink Kai still works and it does not depend of the XBMC version. https://www.teamxlink.co.uk/ You only need a PC running it. There are more complicated ways to run it, but not necessary : you need a router with DD-wrt runing the Kai engine, and and older XBMC version wich has the Kai front end. Thi...

Re: Cannot flash a 1.4V Xbox
On all my modchips i solder d0 from the mainboard to ground (i use the ground from the screw which is close to LPC header), and on all the modchips i solder bt to ground on the chip board.
This method allways worked for me.

Re: x bit mod chip
it's verry simple, it's a no solder mod chip. you just have to put a plastic washer under the chip where the screw is, to keep it leveld.
i have one.

you could flash the bios from within evox dashboard, but you have to manualy download a 256kb bios file.
