Re: Case Mods Showcase
Just wanted to share with you all a project I've been putting together over the past few weeks. Here is a special edition Smoke Xbox. These were only available in Japan. This particular one was sold as "used", but it came in the original box with all of the manuals and cords sealed in thei...

Pound HDMI Cables back on Amazon
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076J9TNCD/
Amazon says the Pound HDMI a/v cables will be back in stock May 30th. They're available for pre-order. They've been out of stock for a while, so if you've been searching for them, now's your chance.

Re: Kodi (XBMC) Released For Xbox One
Yes it's still in Alpha (beta?) so there's still several features don't work just yet. I've also noticed problems in decoding certain types of video formats that work fine on the Android version. You can see what they're still working on in this forum post . Looks like audio pass-through might not h...

Re: I Want To Get Working On A Way To Get Better Usb Storage
What is it exactly you're trying to accomplish? The Xbox only uses USB 1.0, which is really slow. Transferring data from an 8gb or 16gb flash drive would be painfully slow, especially considering you get way faster transfer speeds over FTP. To answer your question about HDD sizes, it's 2TB. Technica...

Re: Max Fan Speed?
I don't believe there's a way to set a maximum fan speed. You can either set what it is or let XBMC handle it automatically based on temps. On auto settings, my Xbox usually doesn't spin up the fans that much at all so I wouldn't worry about it too much if I were you. I'd be more worried about setti...

Re: Swapping Left and Right Thumbstick Fuction
There's probably schematics of the controller board floating around the Internet. If you're comfortable cutting traces and adding wires to tiny points it might be doable. Whats this for anyways?

Re: xboxhdm23usb
I have a hard drive that I used in a TSOP flashed Xbox, but that system died, and I just got a v1.6 Xbox. Can I use this application to install the softmod files onto my drive without erasing what is on there? I really don't want to have to d-rtransfer everything. Assuming you're able to lock your ...

Re: xboxhdm23usb
for some reason it only lists the USB / Cardreader devices and ignores any and all HDDs. This was by design. I brought this up to ldotsfan in a PM and he had this to say: Didn't want folk to end up trashing their Windows OS drive by mistake via SATA. That being said, if you are very very sure you w...

Re: Case Mods Showcase
And TSOP switch is done :D I didn't have a SPDT switch that wasn't huge so I used a SPST power switch instead. The switch goes into a 5v relay which is double-throw so that is what switches the connection points. The +5v line goes through an LED pointing out of the bottom so there's a very slight gr...

Re: [Accessories] Xbox HDMI Cable
Solderside of the motherboard showing how wires were run. I did this multiple ways using different points to pick up the required 5vDC to run convertor as well as the required component and sound. I am thinking of doing a similar mod. However is there any reason not to leach the 5vDC from the HDD p...

Re: Case Mods Showcase
Very nice box. I am planning on doing controller port mod myself, but how do you link it to the power/ejectbutton lights? Thanks! Basically, I took a set of 4 wires and soldered them to the underside of the motherboard where the power/eject connector plug is. The set of 4 wires splits off into 2 an...

Re: Case Mods Showcase
Here's one I finished over the weekend. I kept the paint scheme pretty simple. The white parts are new paint and the black are part of the stock case. Mods: TSOP flash w/ iND-BIOS, controller port mod (color-changing/linked to power circle), heatsink replaced with passive cooler, re-pasted with MX4,...

I've used 360 controller sticks as replacements for OG Xbox S controllers many times in the past. Always worked like a charm! I have a pack of 50 sitting around for any controllers I come across.

Re: Flashed the wrong bios :(
If it's true, then, your ModCuhip is dead, what you can do is to TSOP your XBOX which is Risky TSOP flashing isn't that risky. If you've got a decent soldering iron and haven't been drinking too much coffee that day, then it should be a breeze to bridge the solder points and throw in HeXeN to flash...

Re: XBMC as main dashboard?
I managed to get a default.xbe working by placing it in E, but now, how do I free up space because I won't be using UnleashX and I want to free some space? How do I actually do that without bricking the XBOX? I'd say keep UnleashX on your Xbox. It's like 2MB in size and worth the small amount of sp...
