Re: Help with testing Confluence Lite on SD resolutions
I'll report back anything I notice as I play around with the beta. I have COAX, RCA, S-Video and Composite connections with a variety of TVs for connecting. So far, however, I've not really noticed much in the way of issues. In all honesty, the "Soften" and "Flicker Filter" have ...

Re: Pandora Script??
Unfortunately the script does not allow for multiple accounts. However you could setup the current Pandora script on your Xbox to your settings, and then ftp another Pandora script to your Xbox. Before you ftp it over change the folder name from "script.xbmc.pandorajson" to something like...

Re: Virutal Memory?
I have a fried board (bumped a resistor off trying to jump around corroded traces) -- the memory is definitely going to be put into another XBOX this summer. A friend and I are working up the nerve to put the P3 1.4Ghz and 128MB RAM mods into one of these old XBOXes. It would really be nice to cruis...

Re: Any MythTV Users ?
Sorry, I drafted a response to confirm it was working a week or more ago already -- must have never submitted it. :? XBMC seemed to keep up with my Frodo install. However, I'm not really set up correctly on the backend. I need to figure out how to transcode/downscale the recordings from 1080i to 480...

Re: Any MythTV Users ?
I willl set this up eventually, thank you for sorting this out guys. It's just a matter of getting my MythTV backend configured properly. I've switched between a lot of backends lately. So much work around this tiny apartment I'm afraid it's burying me alive

Re: XBMC everywhere!
I just set up Frodo RC3 with my MythTV backend.
Now I can watch live TV on my Motorola Droid Bionic?! Oh, yes. I just did.
My phone of all things, is a real-time TV.
Glory, for the end of the telecom-provided set-top-box is near. Opensource FTW.

Put me to work!
I've been lurking around the open source community (CMS/web applications) for over 10 years now. Some things don't change much. Lots to do and nobody to do it. The Xbox1 is losing momentum in these golden years. One thing I like, and that The Google likes, is a frequently updated website. Especially...

Re: [SOLVED] Svideo cable worth it?
If anything, it was a criticism of the dying platform itself.
And, HEY! That hurts my feelings. I still come here.

Re: XBMC mod that looks awesome and will help XBMC4XBOX!
Just from what I've heard, that ugly green "sticker" doesn't let go without a pain in the ass of some sort. IIRC, soaking it in gasoline before scrubbing/scraping away the decal was the easiest way. There may be other ways that don't involve chemicals or solvents as well. But nobody cares....

Re: Jan'sEnglishXBMC4XBOX V2.1
Thanks for releasing this.
I am running 4-5 XBOXes for various friends and have decided to go with this build until everything breaks on them again.
I'll try to report back anything useful! So far, from my testing, this has fixed 95% of the things I was hoping for.
