Re: How does the d0 point work on the Aladdin xt plus2?

Lframe is an LPC Bus signal that signifies the start of an LPCBus transaction, in the case with the Xbox it is the trigger for the xbox to talk to device connected to the Xbox LPC Headder by telling the cyclops the bus is busy so the modchip has free rain to access the LCP port. Yip that is the trac...

Re: How does the d0 point work on the Aladdin xt plus2?

The D0 point is what causes the Xbox to boot from the LPC bus instead of the onboard bios. the 1.6 is a bit different as you control LFrame but for all intent purposes the same result and often labeled D0 in install manuals and references on the net. If you permanently ground the D0/ LFrame it will ...

are you sure on the Red and Orange flashing? , id expect Red Rreen meaning the bios is damaged on the chip Flashing Red and Orange (Amber): video display problem, check cord. Re: xboxhdm 23

Your Xbox cant find the files in the dash to set the clock and because of this it refuses to boot (files on C: are corrupt or missing). Just put the stock files on the hdd boot up set the clock then go through the modding process again but dont unplug the console from the power or the clock will bec...

Re: [Help] Formatting my 500GB HDD

You need to update your bios to get lba48 support.

if it says xecuter on boot likely it is an old version and you could update to evox m8+ or indbios

I believe there is no bit streaming and no samba and no tv tuner support those are the main issues, other than that it seems to work well for me.

Re: Flashed the wrong bios :(

I've always booted with a good chip with d0 connected to it and the chip...... only the original chip you boot from needs the D0 connected it is just to get it to boot, after that you can just stick in the second chip and flash it you dont need to have it connected to D0. the 1.6 is the exception b...

Re: meltdown and spectre bug

problem is the patch will slow down branch prediction by aprox 15-20 % from my rough tests, it is really quite damaging in honesty. it seems that amd does not have all of the bugs identified but some os's are applying all patches penalising their performance. we may see it time microcode updates dri...

meltdown and spectre bug

Has any one herd about the meltdown and spectre exploits that have popped up recently ? looks like it is quite serious bug that effects generations of intel, arm and possibly amd processors enabling access to other apps memory pools. This basically means an app could look at all other apps memory in...

Re: Kodi (XBMC) Released For Xbox One

The thing is Microsoft bent over backwards to get kodi onto the app store, they approached the team and helped convert it to a uwp application for cross platform support. You cant deny the user base of xbmc/kodi and it really promoted sales of andriod tv boxes even though it may be related to piracy...

I had the same problem with interferance. When the LED lightbulb was on my Xbox was squealing (I blame the foxconn power supply). I've ordered the Xbox Protection Cord (X800925-100). I didn't have very high hopes, but to my surprise — it works! No more annoying noise, problem fixed. For a...
