Re: Lock hardmodded hard drive for softmodded Xbox
If you struggling with soldering why not try using this: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_203667_langId_-1_categoryId_255229 [Edit] After reading the reviews of that Halfords stuff Maybe try something more like this: http://www.maplin....

Re: Lock hardmodded hard drive for softmodded Xbox
Sorry mate dumb reply on my behalf, your trying to use the hdd from a hard modded drive on a softmoded xbox, sure you may be able to lock the hdd with a eeprom swap however this would involve unlocking any drives that was previously tied to the old eeprom so you can still boot them which kinda revol...

Re: Lock hardmodded hard drive for softmodded Xbox
If your 2 xbox's are the same model you could flash the eeprom so that they both require the same hdd password but you will not be able to use these two xbox's on the same network as they would both have the same mac address.
I've done that a few times over the years.

Re: Lock hardmodded hard drive for softmodded Xbox
Tsop flash the xbox with the dodgy chip ;) Not done tsop before. Is it simply a case of soldering the points on the main board and the unlocked hard drive will work straight off the bat? not exactly, once soldered you have to flash the tsop with either evoloutionx dashboard or with gentoox loader o...

Re: Softmod Gone after..NFS most wanted dash update.
Do you know what? i have no clue how to use chimp, however i have a feeling cloning involves losing data on your big hdd. not sure if that is going to be a problem. Im sure there is a way to just fix the bad softmod or bad ms dash files using xhdm and lose nothing but it does require the eeprom to g...

Re: Softmod Gone after..NFS most wanted dash update.
you should be able to pop that back in get a new copy of your eeprom and re build your softmoded larger drive with xhdm. failing that theres always the mod chip route.

Re: Softmod Gone after..NFS most wanted dash update.
sounds to me like the dvd is not reading the disc rather than anything else, I think the reason your screen goes dodgy when you try run the save game exploit is because your machine is already exploited. try another disc or disc drive or if that doesnt work you and you have the eeprom stashed on you...

Re: Just have to share
Beautiful place! Needs a massive shed to build motorbikes in for the back garden and a whole load of decking round a nice hot tub to enjoy the aurora borealis, and a BIG V8 motor on the driveway! :) Can't figure out what is going on with your kitchen sink either? looks like it has a low corner for t...

Re: Back in the game, starting over with a old XBox
If you want to update xbmc just rename your old xbmc to say "xbmc old" ( if you use unleashx file manager you can edit xbe names ) download, unpack, and copy the new xbmc to your hdd. and enjoy both
