Re: Flashed the wrong bios :(

Ind-bios looks on the HDD for ind-bios.cfg on the root of C. This happens right at the beginning of the boot process so it has to wait for the HDD to initialise. Normally you would see text on the screen. What adaptor and what IDE cable are you using? as is mandatory to use an 80 wire IDE cable with...

Re: original xbox hdd partitions size glitch

Incorrect cluster size somehow? What app did you use to format it? If it was anything other than xbpt (or XBPartitioner) 1.2 or 1.3 I'd suggest formatting the extended partitions with that and giving it another go. thank you for the helpful reply, i had that on mind too, i used hexen cd, however i ...

Re: Xbox showing garbled text after sending over games.

Yes, you are getting corruption because of the cluster size is wrong for that size of partition. Reduce the size of the F partition using the left trigger, then press start followed by Y. Now increase the size again with the R trigger and press start then Y. ( highlight the extra partition 6 first b...

Re: Xbox showing garbled text after sending over games.

Did you format the 500GB drive correctly with XBPartitioner v1.3? No I just used SlaYer's to format it. What would I benefit from using XBPartitioner? It will use the correct cluster size, I take it you just used F takes all? Partitions over 250GB and under 500GB must be 32kb cluster size. Load XBP...

Re: Softmod and clock cap removal

That’s the one, they are all in the same place bar v1.6

All modern softmods are clock loop resistant, ie, they set the time when the NDURE exploit is run in the case of my softmod I set the time/date to 1/1/2017 00:01

Re: Usb windows hard drive setup and 1.6 video patches

1. Can’t really help you here, I used a generic or 360 transfer kit with my HDD’s and it’s plug them in and run the xboxhd.bat. Make sure windows can see and installed the drivers for your adaptor. ( it asks for admin writes as it’s required to get the drives ) 2. The script uses custom font values ...

Re: Ludvig's first softmod, and other mods

The purpose of nulling the key is so you can build a new drive or fix one you unlocked without needing the systems eeprom. Also means you can swap drive between systems that have a nulled key or sell upgraded drives to softmodded folk and all they need to do is null there key and drop the drive in....

Yes it’s a permanent edit.

Also there is no way to stream games over a network, never has been never will be.

Some emulators support it though but that’s because the roms are tiny and fit in ram.

Re: Quick Softmod question

Everything you said is correct. Once you install the softmod or if you’re already softmodded you can skip the disc and use the test build of v1.1.3. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BzRN8P835YijLS1zOWMzV0dRMzA Instructions are included in the zip. Now: You will need to lock the drive if your curren...

Use notepad++ and search for type=“label”

The rest is self explanatory. I’m not going to do it for you so, make changes and test. Once you get the hang of it you will be able to do more and more.
