Re: Estuary - Kodi's new skin
Let me grab the latest build and see if I can get it up and running - it's only been 6 years
I literally have 100 other things I should be doing, but this seems like a good way to avoid all of them...

Re: Estuary - Kodi's new skin
Holy smokes, been a minute gang - hope you're all doing well! I check in from time to time, this one got my attention. I breezed through the posts, my interest has officially been rekindled. I've got like 4 of these dinosaurs laying around my place, I'll see if I can remember how to turn one on and ...

Re: [Skin] Rapier Clarity Mod (3.5.49)
Ok, I think you can undo the changes I asked you to try. What is the name of the source for your games folder, and where is it? For example if you have a folder that isn't called games and isn't saved as a source in program/files then this could be the issue. I tried this method and have no issues s...

Re: [Skin] Rapier Clarity Mod (3.5.49)
Hey sorry again for taking a while to get back. Open up Includes_Variables.xml with a text editor that will give you line numbers ( I prefer notepad++ ). Replace the code on line 156 with this: <value condition="Window.IsActive(501) | Window.IsActive(2) | [Window.IsActive(1) + ![Substring(Conta...

Re: [Skin] Rapier Clarity Mod (3.5.49)
Hello, apologies for the late response. From home menu: system>skin>home>disable home menu custom items click the "DISABLE ALL HOME MENU CUSTOM ITEMS" radio button so that it is unticked and head back to the home menu. Go to the programs submenu and an "ADD PATH" button should no...

Happy birthday...kinda funny how time creeps in eh? "COB" is relative though, I feel like any father with three kids could easily fall into that category at any age

Stock sch-1500 (mesmerize) firmware...
Had an old one of these laying around and tried flashing a newer version of android but accidentally flashed it with the fascinate (same phone different carrier) ROM and now it is bricked! Can still get into download mode, but the stock recovery is toast so it just says SAMSUNG infinately :) Was kin...

Re: XBMC4XBOX360 Sort of..
Very cool, who knows what will come of it but I for one thank you for your time and effort...most people don't realize how easy it is to get sucked up into coding and lose weeks of your life while chasing something down in there

Re: Estuary - Kodi's new skin
screenshot002.jpg So I'm trying to get Home.xml together as a starting point and then on to other windows for a less buggy framework. At that point I'll push to git so anybody that wants to can help. In the meantime I've kind of hit a wall due to a texture attribute we don't have, it's stretched th...

Re: Estuary - Kodi's new skin
+1 That is exactly what I did.Rocky5 wrote:Basically what I would do is cut the include, paste it in a new file & batch replace the values. Then cut & paste it back into the correct file.
(Not to be confused with the includes.xml)

Re: Estuary - Kodi's new skin
I'll give an example (I think this is how it works)...from Includes_Home.xml (line 40 and this is your $PARAM template for all home submenus): <include name="SubMenu"> <control type="group"> <height>110</height> <visible>$PARAM[visible]</visible> <animation effect="slide&quo...

Re: Estuary - Kodi's new skin
I pretty much get how it works now <param name="foo"> are basically the shells for all of the various items using the same shell (of which there are many different shells) <foo>$PARAM[foobar]</foo> So basically we would be unstitching a nicely sewn together teddy bear to unleash the grizzl...

Re: Estuary - Kodi's new skin
I took a look at the $PARAM from the skin's includes.xml...dunno how to even begin to tackle it. It's like includes on crack  It would probably be easier to just write the cpp code for that then to side step with hackery or as Dom suggested write it up from scratch with a rough draft just by ...
