Re: I have somehow screwed up DVDPlayer & Mplayer in XBMC

uncheck aac/mp1/2/3 and the downmix setting (don't enable stuff your receiver doesnt support - and dont downmix if you have digital receiver - just use the stereo mode on receiver etc if you have only 2.1 audio) Ok, It's working. It must have been the AAC audio. Funny thing is I only went into thos...

Re: I have somehow screwed up DVDPlayer & Mplayer in XBMC

You have digital audio out connected (and are using it) ? what settings do you have for audio out / what your amp supports? the reason mplayer can't handle it is the file is too new for mplayer. I suspect the dvdplayer audio is a wrong setting in the audio config. I am using component out with opti...

I have somehow screwed up DVDPlayer & Mplayer in XBMC

As of right now in XBMC, DVDPlayer plays video perfectly, but has no audio. Mplayer has audio , but the video is all gray with sometimes a flicker of giant pixels that lets you see the video playing underneath. It was working great just a day ago. Everything was working fine and I must have download...

Re: navix //script error

I remember when the same was happening to me and it was because I needed to install certain script modules. I looked in my XBMC script modules and I know one of them was pysqllite2-xbox . I know there was another I had to download. Since I read about this on the old XBMC4XBOX forums I can't go and f...

Re: Using Navi-X in HD with XBMC
I read somewhere he wasnt doing them anymore , Professor Johnny wrote in another post that the only improvement he got with his 1.4/128 trusty upgrade is with emulators and linux/homebrew.
That is what I was afraid of. I had read similar posts about emulators working better, but tha...

Re: Using Navi-X in HD with XBMC

I think you are lucking to have navi-x working at all let alone in hd, trusty is not making the upgrades anymore and really from what i've read the xbox still wont output true 720P anyway. Actually, I have been in touch with trusty in the last couple of days and he is still offering the upgrades. J...

Using Navi-X in HD with XBMC

I would like to run Navi-X in the best HD video settings, but it seems that the XBOX cannot handle running Navi-X and HD at the same time easily. I remember reading a post that talked about deleting things and shutting features off in order to get Navi-X to run in 720p. I think that post was on the ...

Re: ide to sata adaptors that worked for me

I have used a few of the Dealextreme units mentioned above. http://www.dealextreme.com/p/sata-to-ide-hard-disk-mini-vertical-bridge-adapter-card-12537?item=46 I had a problem with it not working on a 2TB Seagate HD. The solution was to change the IDE cable in the XBOX. I used some newer IDE Cables I...
