Re: 110v to 240v conversion Halo edition 1.2 Xbox
Cheers for the reply, I have a step down transformer because I use an American Weller soldering station but it's a lot of hassle. I'll change the board for a 230v one at some point. I can get by setting it up etc with the step down transformer. Also have a mountain dew edition that will get the sam...

Re: 110v to 240v conversion Halo edition 1.2 Xbox
Hi, I have just purchased a halo edition Xbox which I believe are only NTSC and 110v. I am in Ireland and want to be able to plug it in to 240v. Being a halo edition I think these are all version 1.2. Wondering if many have experience doing this conversion? Is there possibly a 240v tap and a 110v t...

Re: XBOX 2TB SATA Upgrade Tutorial
I have the xchanger 2.1 EDIT: Got it to work. With the setup from above and again the 80 pin ATA cable. It detected my harddrive now! So i think it was the mix of flodder activated and the 80 pin cable to get it to work. Third edit. So its like you said. If i start with eject button, its a fast boo...

So you have an American Xbox and you need to swap out the power supply to a 220v to match where you live? Correct?LudviG wrote:I am looking for a 220v power supply for an US 1.0 Xbox.

Re: XBOX 2TB SATA Upgrade Tutorial
I ordered another sata- ide connector from aliexpress for 3€. It has the option to choose between master/ slave. Maybe this will help. The pins on the Kingston that you have is master and slave also...... So your chip is set to dual boot One from power button and one from eject. Does your chip have...

Re: XBOX 2TB SATA Upgrade Tutorial

If i start my xbox via power button, im entering the modchip menu. After that i start with modchip bios and the flooder is showing up. After this, nothing happens...

Re: XBOX 2TB SATA Upgrade Tutorial
Nope. I just see the xbox logo screen with the evox logo on the upper left of the screen That's where your trouble lies...... Change your BIOS to be able to show the flubber. Your hard drive doesn't have time to spin up to find the default.xbe or whatever is your main dash before the BIOS thinks th...

Re: XBOX 2TB SATA Upgrade Tutorial
No, i think you did misunderstood me. Bios is working well with IGR set to fast boot. If try to boot autoinstaller disk with the new hdd attached i get the error 07. Out of solutions now. Maybe an other ide connector would help. Some suggestions? Is flubber still enabled in bootup? Meaning the gree...

Re: XBOX 2TB SATA Upgrade Tutorial
Ok try putting a game disc in and see if it starts. If it starts then IGR and see if it restarts. I just flashed bios with IGR set to quick. Still getting error 7. Unable to get to autoinstaller menu on disk Like it won't read a disc before it error 7? If so I had that happen too. I found a disc im...

Re: XBOX 2TB SATA Upgrade Tutorial
Setting IGR to fast or compatible will make no difference if you can’t load the HDD to begin with. Get yourself an adaptor that is know to be 100% compatible consistently. I only purchase two types, startech and a specific generic green one. It's weird I have the exact same adapter and hard drive i...

Yes it took a year for me to try everything..... You should see all my threads over at the Coin-Ops forum about it. There's a ton. It all boiled down to changing the IGR to fastboot.

Re: Wondering if I can get some direction?
It's as simple as FTPing roms/iso's over into whatever emulator's folder where the games/roms/isos go. Download a FTP program (I use FXP but you can use filezilla if you want.... It's completely free but I have had lost packets and errors using it but that's just me) https://www.flashfxp.com Just re...

Re: XBOX v1.0 Power On Issue
Sounds like the power button is half way broken which let's the power button touch the pad that turns it on. If that's not it then it's still something to do with the switch itself..... Take it apart and check it out.

eBay or Amazon have tons. Will they not ship there for some odd reason?
