Wireless Controller Compatibility
Hello, I got my xbox mod working but I'd like to get some of the wireless controllers for the xbox. I really like the Logitech Precision Cordless. I was going to order one, but I wanted to make sure there are no known compatibility issues with this controller with xbmc4xbox or the game emulators (su...

Re: XBOXHDM 2.2
Well, I followed the directions provided here http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?/topic/649031-xboxhdm2-usb-edition-alpha-release/ but I get the "missing operating system" error on my BIOS when it tried to boot from the USB key. Does the USB key have to be in a specific format before I...

Re: XBOXHDM 2.2
Ok thanks fxmech. I just wanted to be sure someone had actually done it before. I couldn't find any info on successful drive upgrades with the latest version of 2.2: http://theisozone.com/downloads/xbox/tools/xboxhdm22a-usb-edition/. I'm downloading now and will update you guys on progress. Thanks a...

Re: XBOXHDM 2.2
Another question guys. I'm out of blank CDs. Will XBOXHDM 1.9 work with a burned DVD iso? I know I know, I'm high maintenance If not, I'll just get a CD when I get to town again. Cheers!

Re: XBOXHDM 2.2
Good point. I'm not sure if my PC mobo would support multiple IDE devices off the same cable. Have to check. Thanks!

Re: 12V Fan Upgrade with 3 wire fan
Do you spread the TP over the whole thing or just dab in the middle? I've heard arguments both ways for the ps3, not sure it matters for xbox but wanted to check.

USB to XBOX cable wiring
Hey guys, so I am making a USB to Xbox cable to do a softmod. I've cut open my USB cable, but it has different colored wires than I was expecting. It has white, green, blue, and orange wires. I've googled around and found conflicting info on how to connect one of these to an Xbox controller cable. I...

Re: 12V Fan Upgrade with 3 wire fan
Thank you all. I plugged the fan into the motherboard, and it appears to be working. I just plugged it in. I didn't cut any of the wires, but I saw another tutorial that said you could ground off the case to get 100% fan speed. However, that forces 100% all the time which is why I opted not to do th...

Where to start
Hello, I have a v1.6 NTSC xbox. I was wondering if someone could point me to a good, modern tutorial that I can use with all the files/software needed to load XBMC to my xbox? There are a ton of tutorials out there but most seem to not have all the files and I want to be sure it will work for my sys...

12V Fan Upgrade with 3 wire fan
Hello all, I am a noob at modding. This is my first xbox mod. I have a v1.6 NTSC system and I am starting with changing out the fan. This is the fan I have to put in: http://www.amazon.com/Superred-CHA8012CS-A-80mm-25mm-Connector/dp/B00BCP6G96. I could get another fancier one, but I have this in sto...
