Re: Thanks For XBMC4XBOX
I would recommend buying an xbox component cable so you can do 720P. Makes a big difference

Re: Aye, Aye Raspberry Pi
I love mine, still need to try the USB install to improve perfromance, but overall it works great. Also good to know the XBOX remote works out of the box, so I bought myself a XBOX to USB cable for a couple of euro and can use the existing remote without original config (when using RASPBMC).

Re: XBMC4Xbox Remote - Android app
Thanks DandDar, I don't use your app, since I own a Windows phone. So I think the regular XBMC remote just doesn't work with XBMC4XBOX. I have allow HTTP control enabled, set the port to 80 and made the usename/PW XBMC. But the app can't find the XBOX: System.Net.WebException Remote server not found...

Re: XBMC4Xbox Remote - Android app
Not sure if this is the right place, but I am using the XBMC remote app for Windows phone for my RASPBMC install and it works fine. But can't seem to connect to the XBOX. I am running 3.2.1 - r31678. But in my settings I cannot see anything for services as shown in the screenshots. Webserver is on (...

Re: Original X-Box DVD remote on RPi?
Since the XBOX remote works out of the box on RASPBMC and I am a lazy guy, I searched for a XBOX to USB cable and found one for 2.95 euro excl shipping.
Bought one and it works perfectly..... Plug and play

Re: Aye, Aye Raspberry Pi
You need to buy a licence from the RPi store for mpeg-2 (DVD ISO) playback. I bought the license but there are still issues with VIDEO_TS and DVD iso playback on the PI. HD works fine, so I am happy.... I can still use the XBOX for the DVD rips Also with a XBOX to USB connector, the XBOX remote wor...

Re: Aye, Aye Raspberry Pi
I just received my PI and installed it with RASPBMC. sofar works like a charm, but indeed does sometimes respond a little slower than the xbox when using Transparancy! but it is a heavy duty skin. Sofar no problems but unfortunately it doesn't play DVD rips. Hope they solve this in the near future. ...

Re: Stuttering/Buffering video
Thanks Dan Dar,
Last DEBUG didn't really help as it only mentioned something about "waiting for data".
The NAS does support FTP, also WEBDAV, but i always thought FTP was not supposed to be used for streaming?

Re: Stuttering/Buffering video
Still struggling with this. I watched BATTLESHIP DVD9 ISO from my Cubestation NAS, and it was buffering frequently since the beginning of the movie. I watched it using XBMC for W7 on my laptop over the same network and didn't seem to have these problems. I also watched the Hobbit from the XBOX's loc...
