Re: What video fomat plays best on xbox..?

Note the XBOX cannot output 1080p video, the max output resolution it can support is 1080i (interlaced scanning). It is a physical hardware limitation of the video display sub-system. For reference, the best quality video output for moving pictures is 720p (progressive scanning). For static images, ...

Re: [SOLVED] iPlayer Broken (by BBC (again))

Ah yeah that's right I don't think XBMC4Xbox allows for multiple directories in the repo addon.xml file. The way the NaN repo works is it hooks into different devs repos and they are auto populated in Kodi. You'll want to install the Catchup4Kodi repo which has this on there, it also has the UKPlay...

Re: [SOLVED] iPlayer Broken (by BBC (again))

Lee, I'll need this explaining to me only once. :-) On my PC: I found the NaN repo http://noobsandnerds.com/portal/*REPOSITORY%20PORTAL/ Downloaded and then FTP'd the noobsandnerdsrepo zip file to my XBOX. Then, on my XBOX: From the Addons4XBMC4XBOX plug-in I added the nan repo using the zip file I'...

Re: [SOLVED] iPlayer Broken (by BBC (again))

It looks like iPlayer got changed again, so an updated plug-in is needed.

I see that the xunity web site is off-line (although the server can be pinged). Does anyone know whether that is a temporary glitch or a permanent situation?

Re: Xbox external VGA Mod -> Updated Frozen cable

I am assuming this is a Component Video -> HDMI converter, what are the 7 connections to the board from the X80X video connector?

Re: back to noob status questions

Can't say much on Executer chips. Know I've had one in the past but I forget what I did to get a bios on it. Pretty sure it was something ran on the box to flash it. HeXEen disc may have what you need. FlashBIOS typically comes on (one bank of an) Xecuter chip. If not, then yep, you're right, HeXEn...

Re: Fuzzy video and power connection.

I expect that the power connector's soldered connections to the PSU board have come loose, cracked or broken and need re-soldering. It's quite a common fault and easy to fix if you have a soldering iron.

Re: Used XBOX Issue

So, what version should I go with? Also, do you have a link for evox? Given where you're starting from, and the question you've just asked, I'm inclined to agree with the professor. On your PC, search for HeXEn 2017, download it and burn it to DVD-R at x4 speed or slower. Meanwhile, it would be wor...
