TVcatchup plugin hangs xbox on stream end

ok, if you play a stream for a reasonable length of time (say >5mins) then press STOP or just let it end, there's a good chance of it hanging your xbox.
at the point where it's reloading the menu. i tried disabling "what's on" as a workaround thinking it would have less to do, but still hangs.

have tried 1.4.3 and 1.4.6 on 2 different xboxes.

skin is xTV_SAF 1.11 at 720p

edit: 3.2 stable.
edit2: same in 31600. RAM doesn't seem to be the problem (for once).

any thoughts please? i think this plugin is doing more than others when it reloads, it's checking for updates, trying to get current programme names and maybe some other things.

was able to ftp and grab that without a reboot, so it's not really hung.. but graphically is a frozen wait indicator, so have to hard reset, i think? i've noticed this with many plugin related hangs. this one is very reproducable though.

always that access violation when this happens. xbox responds to ftp but no response to remote.
workaround may be to switch to menu (big green button) before ending stream?
or could be skin related? will try Confluence now.

update: same hang with Confluence as with XTV_SAF. not a skin issue afaict.

ok, returning to menus before pressing STOP is definitely a workaround for this bug!

however, that causes memory problems so itself will cause will cause a hang with Confluence skin at 720p. works with XTV_SAF though.

buzz please is there any chance you can look at this? pretty bad esp. as it happens if stream drops (accidentally, network problems or whatever), ended up having to get up and reset xbox 4 times this evening :/ this can't be good for the xbox either to have so many power cycles!

certainly a plugin should not be able to cause this, so please add it to the bugtracker and ill look at it at when I have time (which may not be anytime soon).
