Hi,
My XBOX got an error 07. I am assuming the original HDD failed. Is there a way to recover this without involving a PC? Please help. Thanks!

In my experience it's almost always a dead hard disc. if your console runs a non-standard BIOS (modchip or TSOP flash) just drop in a new drive.
Otherwise (unmodded or softmodded), you'll need your console's EEPROM data to build a replacement hard drive - and at some point in the process you'll need a PC.
