i have got a 60g hdd unlocked with error code 05
trying to use chimp to try and lock it so i can but it in my new xbox
trying hotswap way 2 xboxs using chimp bbut am not getting option to Scan Physical IDE Devices"

In step 11.
Now, before leaving Chimp, we have one more thing to do, lock the drive. Choose option 3 ("Lock Slave"). It will now ask you where the source key is located. If you know you have your eeprom backup in the tmp folder, choose option 2. Otherwise choose option 1 (from Motherboard).

Are you choosing option 1 or 2 ?


From the error 5 we know that the hdd did not lock, your more uncommon 60gb hdd might not even be "lockable", did you check your hdd make and model against the compatibility list?
