IDE to Sata Adaptor

Hi was wanting a bit of help please, will this be ok for a sata hdd upgrade for my xbox

i just recently updated my xbox with a sata 2.5" drive using a ide to sata converter ... i got a red one off amazon "startech.com" i believe .. just make sure you have an 80 pin ide cable .. you can not use a 40 pin (the one in the xbox) .. best of luck

Thank you the converter i got did not work , went and got a 80 pin cable still no joy getting error 13, ill see if i can find the one your talking about on amazon and try that , thanks for the reply and info
