are these xbox compatable skins by chance ? I cant look at your picture as it says i need google chrome to view them the main stream sking dont work with xbmc4xbox and may use incompatable characters or illegial names or folder depths.

Most xbox ftp programs have the function to rename these files when you ftp them xbmc4xbox has this capibility, there is a item in the settings menu to enable this.

If you ask me those look like badly encoded Unicode characters.

Either way, Xbox file system has a limit of 42 characters for filename, and it doesn't support extended characters.

I would simply remove those files before transferring over, it looks like they are icons for studio names to be show probably in Movie info details or Movie playback info.

The skins should still work if missing the icons. No big deal.
