remember a long tima ago i scored a smartxx ltopx chip from australia for real cheap with lcd:
Well i finally got around to building it up and soldering in the lcd sorry for the poor quality pic's but my camera is bung.
i gave this away to someone that has brought 2 xboxes off me in the last 6 months and sent them back for numerious hdd upgrades and has been great to deal with and very generious.

you are the wizzard at making them look spiffy, i dont have any thing at the moment apart from my maintrusty xbox and a slim which is plain black and quite boring compaired to yours!!

Sweet P.J.. Hardwired LCDs. I have my SmartXX courtesy of Nextell in a swap deal we arranged so I could give an Ambient Light feature a go in my LCD machine that had the X3 chip in it Nex was desperately after. Seemed like a fine swap to both of us so it was done. No cash. I mostly like the LCD fitted in a stock face plate though. I personally think it gives a cleaner look. You managed to retain the game ports 3 and 4. Good work, I didn't think that was possible when I modded my face plate for the LCD. Blue back-lite with white character LCD?. I am still desperately after an Aladdin 64 LCD modchip. I'd swap a fully loaded 500Gb IDE hard drive for one of those chips just so's I could finish that Aladdin LCD mod machine I started heaps ago.



Anyway, who's got some more modded Xbox pics for the ShowCase?.

it was a blue on white display but the smartxx mod chip i had was a lite version and does not have the rgb connections other wise i would of did that and kept it.

Hey X, let me know when you get the SmartXX going and i'll give you all my old Ambilight files for XBMC and DVD2BOX. I think i might have a fully working build of XBMC ready with ambilight support.

Now that I could use along with a diagram of the driver circuit I need to drive the LEDs if you have anything about what's required. By the way, go ahead with the green and I'll catch up with the crystal. I started another "special" today along with the white and it will take some time to get to do as we discussed.

I've never really did any crazy Case mod, i was more concentrate on hardware stuff like 128MB upgrades..
But dont worry guys, i have plans.. lol

When PS2 case mod goes wrong ^^ Moral of the Story: Go to bed at night, no case moding at 4am.. And as i always said.. Treat Ghost cases as if they were made of glass.
That was last week... now i need to order a new one, as this kind of stuff tend to keep me from sleeping at night
(the 2 plastic bits in the back are just leftovers.. for different PS2 rev)
