where are save files stored on the HDD?
Is it possible for me to download a save file from GameFAQs and transfer it to my modded Xbox using FlashFXP? If so, where are the save files located?

Maybe start with this:

Then if you search the forums here for "xbx" you will find a few more threads on the subject.

how can I use someone else's data for Dead or Alive Ultimate? when I try to load a save that I downloaded online, it won't let me load it because it knows that it's a transfer. how do I bypass this?
edit: shit, my bad. forgot I had the last post, didn't mean to double post

Game saves go to E/UDATA. Every save will be a numbered folder of 12 digits along the lines of 2345art65467. And yes if you are modded you can just FlashFXP or Filezilla to transfer over the saves. Just FTP em, reboot and go to town. Some saves are key locked and wont work on other XBOXs, for a good SAVE database I would suggest grabbing Action Replay or Gameshark. Should be able to buy one for 4 or 5 bucks at the local pawn shop or game shop
